As you may have already read in the media, Knaken Cryptohandel B.V. has officially been declared bankrupt. This is an incredibly painful and disappointing outcome after our intensive efforts to transition the trading platform into the new MiCAR regime.

For you as an investor, this concretely means that the specific portion of your indirect investment relating to the trading activities of Knaken has ceased to exist.

Are you also a trading customer at Knaken?
If, in addition to being a certificate holder, you also maintained a regular trading account on the Knaken platform with an outstanding balance (crypto or euros), please note that this is legally separate from your investment in the STAK. For the settlement of these customer funds, an independent collective initiative has been launched to allow affected clients to unite. While the news regarding Knaken is inherently negative, it is of vital importance to emphasize that your participation through the STAK (Stichting Administratiekantoor) has not completely vanished. The operations and activities within goSettle are continuing at full strength and remain completely unaffected by the bankruptcy of the trading entity. Consequently, as of today, your certificates represent the remaining value and the future growth potential of the goSettle enterprise.
